solidworks: riflessione

Hi guys, I'm new in the forum.
I would like to know why in my work space I can not set (and then display) the appearance of materials (e.g. stainless steel) and the reflection of the floor!
It's driving me crazy!

Do you have a certified realview card on your PC using solidworks?

because the reflection of the floor is not of the modeling environment cad, but of the rendering software (photoview).
for materials, you can simply assign them by right-clicking on the component in the featur manager, and selecting material, or directly selecting the material you choose under the "material" item, always in the feature manager.
so you get both the appearance of the material, the viewer cad and the rendering environment, and the physical characteristics of the material.

with active realview (obviously for graphics card that allows it. so picture or firegl.. or with soliduser patch) the reflection is in the normal modeling environment.

I still can't understand one thing: what is this realview? How could you set up?
I explain: I need to make a presentation of a product directly from the work space, so I need to set both the reflection of the floor (to make the project highly professional), and the appearance of the material.

in that video is active the realview.
But you want to tell us what video card you have? because "gamers" do not allow it (unless to use, if possible, the softmod or the patch.. search in the old discussions and between useful resources. . here in the forum).

the real view is activated by the menu view view (of course not?) or the icon view settings at the top of the graphic area, represented by a golden sphere. but you must have a picture or firegl, otherwise the option is not selectable.
