solidworks routing, its use and creation of compressed air library for automation

Good morning to all,
I searched within the forum all the routing inert but I did not find something detailed.
for working needs I need to exploit routing to be faster in creating rilsan tubes for the various compressed air requirements in the design of outlet hands for automation in injection molding (some also very complex, however having to remain extremely compact).
I tried, even looking at some online videos, to use routing functionality, but without success.
In particular I do not have an air component library, I tried to create something but I cannot use it as the software returns me that it does not find default configurations for the component I want to insert.
Does anyone have my own problems?
I hope to be able to clarify some doubts and then succeed in using this functionality in my opinion very performing.

Thank you very much

Thank you.
for the library I will use my models already previously downloaded as I use components of the same brand of which I already have many 3d parts made that I add to my library.
the problem remains on the rilsan tube...when I want to create a rilsan tube from one attack to another start problems.. .
I can't roam and I can't figure out how to put a tube from a rilsan attack to another...

My attacks already have them in the library, the attacks and other there are and do not have configurations while the rilsan has 6 different configurations, but every time I try to create a pipe, it tells me that there are no default configurations. both that do it with the "start with drag and release" and from the route menu. . .
I attach what I see as a monitor SLD Routing_1.webpSLD Routing_2.webpSLD Routing_3.webp

Your parts don't work, the routing ones do. Why? to understand it you should download one of those bookstores I have indicated, open a part and observe how it is made, compare it with your is doing some replicating evidence the parameters

According to you may be due to the fact that maybe the elements of the libraries I need and that I downloaded from the manufacturer's website are not native to solidworks?
the files I downloaded, before using them, were converted to step and then saved to .sldprt..
Could they have lost some parametric functions?
thanks for availability

And of course I do. step is an interchange format without constructive history. In fact, you should have a solid and not classic modeling function in the tree. but the parameters of routing is not said to depend on functions. sure cannot change size if it does not have configurations

I try to see to repair some element of the library in such a way as to see if there are differences.
about .step, almost 90 % of my library is this format, but some are in downloadable format with compatibility from solidworks 2006 ahead..magari can still be changed compatibility and consequently the interchangeability of the elements downloaded in the file together.
I hope to find the square otherwise I will see to find some gurus of solidworks nearby. . .

probably in your parts are not configured the junction points necessary to use the route

Hello, everyone! the main problem is that underlined by atreiu.

Componentistic files can result from any type of modeling, it is not essential to be solid natives and/or parametric.

It is however simple to create a part file with a plurality of imported solids in order to create the necessary configurations.

each configuration, must have the necessary routing points to develop the lines.

for what concerns the rilsan tube, or any specific tube not already present in the library, I recommend you to follow the council of boulders, recover an existing routing library file tube, study it and indiminate its parametric properties according to your need.

for the moment I have created a small tube library with parametric properties (which are chosen by me when I put them together).
As for the route, do the points have to be created in the part before inserting together?
I'm sure I'm running off some routing bookstores and I'm gonna throw it off for good.
