I am a new user just enrolled, student of the university of perugia.
I apologize for not showing up right away, and instead opening this post, but I'll fix it tonight when I get home! !
I have a problem to solve using ansys software, specifically:
Is it possible to combine one or more pieces of beam shaped with beam elements to an imported solid?
I'll explain better.
I would import the solid geometry of the steering rod of a frame then add tubular and transversine as beam elements.
Can you do that?
Somebody give me a tip?
If this were possible, I would be able to move the traversine positions quickly enough to optimize the frame so as to make the whole structure work.. .
