Hello everyone,
who knows how to explain why, to upload an object or a set from the pdm, the density of the latter is not really saved?
I understand better: I know for certain that any component in the pdm has a certain density. load the component in 3d environment, verify density and this is different. Why? Thank you all.

I did not understand your problem very well, but the only thing that comes to mind for which a part can have a density different from that assigned, by default or mene, is that within the group in which it is loaded has a different density of " instance".
in this case when you see the density with "part and group property" he will tell you the density of " instance" and not that of "base"

Good morning.
I've got a big problem, burned my hard drive with modeling 16, drafting and model manager. I have a hardware key on the PC serial,
I reinstalled the whole cd, but I don't activate the licenses, someone can help me.

Thank you in advance. .

Good morning.
by cocreate modeling 2006 I went to ptc creo direct elements modeling 19. I also have the problem to give the materials to the parts. Can you help me?

I think without pdm the only thing you can do is assign density. if instead you have to give a material coding (fe360, at 6061, b14, etc) you simply cannot with "liscio" modeling.

if someone can interest,
for users who do not have pdm I have developed an application that allows to automatically and definitively assign properties (code, description, material, weight calculation, color, density, supplier, etc.) to parts and assemblies.

These properties are then displayed in the structure browser and can be extracted for the automatic compilation of the separate 3d or folder or export on excel.

I'll put some pictures of the menus.
