Good morning to all
when I save a dft in pdf I have problems with the thickness of the lines
become all big and often in areas of detail overlap by compromising the legibility of the design?
Is there any remedy I'm missing?

I use 0.35 mm as thickness for thick lines and 0.25 mm for the thickness of thin ones.

to preview how the printed design shows you can enable the option "view as printed" in the "view" tab of solid edge options.

the thicknesses indicated are the same that I use but noticed a decided increase in thickness when from the dft step to pdf.
this becomes then "uncomfortable" when you have seen with very small details or when for graphic needs you put in solid edge some line (in my case of annotation arrows) with a thickness increased for example 1
in solid edge display remains sharp and without overlap
in pdf thickness 1 seems to become a 3 so of the drawn arrow remains something incomprehensible. . .

pdf molds on the correct sheet size? back time we had the same problem, then we realized that we "printed" formats a2 a1 and a0 always on a3, and this caused the problem.

but create pdf using the save by name or printing on a virtual printer?
I with the save by name never had problems, especially if you use the size of the individual sheet (every sheet takes the size set)

to me everything seems fine in the pdf you sent.
I also printed them in scale 1:1 and the line thickness is correct.

did you try to activate "view as printed" in solid edge?
to work I keep it disabled, but when I have to retouch the thicknesses and the spacing is important to activate it to realize what you are doing.

You're right! !
I didn't know this display option and I often fell into the trap to think that the problem was conversion to pdf
for example also the dotted fills of section views I saw them change between the dft and pdf

with this active option instead there is full correspondence between dft and pdf
all clear then: no conversion problem but only a display setting I didn't know!

from the image I see that you are modifying the line thickness of the "style views", i.e. all lines of service related to the view (e.g. the edge if displayed or if "accorci" a view).

what you want to change is the thickness of the "line stems".

is there no way to create a custom line style setup as in the case of "stili vista design" or "stile quota" and then apply it to other dft designs already made?

all custom styles would be good to create them in your template. if you have multiple needs you can create multiple templates already set (e.g. one for each customer).

you can copy styles from one file to another using the organizer.

the line thicknesses on "style view", as i have already told you, serve to define the thicknesses of the lines of the view (not the lines of what is represented in the view), for example the edge of the view (if shown).
