Bye to all,

I would need to be able to create a spherical displacement on a flat sheet but I can't, if you can create it with inventor 2011.
the last idea was to build a punch of the desired shape but I don't think it is possible to use it as a fold tool...

Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you.

What do you mean by spherical rolling? maybe you're thinking about a funnel or a press machining?

I wanted to insert the pictures but I can't do it.
definitely with a process of fun you should be able to create it... but with inventor can be represented?
is a folded sheet with 2 different rays on the horizontal and vertical plane.
in part mode (ipt ) I realize it quietly of revolution, creating the totate revolution to have the cap and then extruded to cut the "picchio " that enlists me.
In sheet mode (the one closest to realisation) I can't do that.
the part to be created is a spherical sector of a cap that has a radius of 900 mm that turns on a radius of 1110 mm.

you can't do it because inventor, like most solid modelers, does not support deformation processing (printing, funnel etc.) but only bending and working of calandra (tubes and cones...).
Therefore, in modeling you can do it without doubt, but no development.:frown:
