spring with oval edge

Good morning, I should draw a spring with oval-shaped spire, I tried the helical command but I can't build it.
I also read another discussion here on the forum but I did not understand how to build it.with s.w. I am not very practical of ect spirals.

I believe that with the helical command you will not be able to do it, as, in the sketch, it only works with circular geometries.
I would try with a sweep extrusion.

I would do like this:
extrusion of a surface from the oval shape of your spring seen in plant.
creation around the surface and for all its height of a circular propeller with the parameters of your spring
propeller projection on surface
spring creation with a sweep using the projection as a path.
