st2 si st2 no?

Hey, everybody!
I haven't heard from you, but I've been following you all the time,
I would have a question to ask you, I have come to the office for a couple of months st2 but for work commitments I could never install it, now it is time and I would like to enter into this new world of st2 but I am very doubtful.
I press that I am currently using v20 with service pack 15 and I am fully satisfied, my station is:
workstation hp sw6200 with xeon processor 3,20 ghz
2,00 gb ram
video card nvidia picture fx 1400
xp professional operating system

so I ask you kindly:
Is it worth it?
Can my station support it or risk weighting?
I've heard that I can work in a st or traditional environment, is it?
with the last service pack is quite stable?
excuse all my questions but then once I have installed here I have to produce, and I don't have much time to devote especially when you have the head attached with the rope to the zebedei that you enjoy to pull often, then beyond all cad, pc, 3d ,xp ,st2 if etc......... You don't understand a bat.

If you want to use the synchronous environment, if you want to continue using the traditional environment, it's better than staying on the v20. the improvements in the traditional environment are almost null, and you'll find yourself fighting against the new poor interface.

about working in traditional or synchronous:

solidedge st1-2 has both environments, but you can't use them within the same file:

if you have a traditional file, you can't perform synchronous work, and vice versa.

If you open a traditional file and turn it into synchronous, then it's no longer possible to go back to the traditional.

If you have a synchronous file, it's impossible to convert it into traditional.

ok! from what I understand I should install it only if I intend to work with the synchronous environment, but what do you mean by the poor interface?

the user interface was completely twisted and made very similar to that of office 2007, which caused the revolt of many users, and a certain banner of nails on the mirrors by the developers to justify themselves.

the new interface is almost not customizable at all and forces to make kilometers with the mouse to get to the controls.

use solid edge only as design then details are not made in the draft environment but exported to dwg to pass to the technical office that uses only autocad.
Could this be an advantage for me?

I am using the st2 mp3, certainly improvements in traditional environments are not many, but still seems stable, indeed with quite important overalls it seems better to me than the st and v20.

I also confirm it is more stable than the st and v20, surely with the prox service pack will fix other bugs but for now I do not complain

I really think I'll have to have some courage and throw myself on the update, I don't want the st2 to do the same end of st1, I still have the beautiful box with cd inside placed under the monitor to make it thick.
I'm sorry, but no one wants me for this decision.
