standard measuring unit problem

Hi, I'm a first-arm mechanical engineering student with solidworks.
by default when I open a new part I have the mks measuring system (I think I have selected it so during installation), while instead I need the mmgs, so every time I open something new I am forced to change from mks to mmgs.
also going to the options, it makes me change only the properties of the document, not the standard ones.
I tried to look also in the online guide but I did not find answer to my question, it is really a bang every time I open a sketch etc new having to change :angry:
I have the problem on solid 2012 and 2013.

in part options, together, drawing there are two tabs as you can see qui:
System options are valid settings for the whole program
Document options are valid settings for the type on you are working on, so part has settings, together others and drawing others again.
you can safely, once you open a standard model set it as you prefer and save it as a template see qui.

attention when opening a new model in beginner mode you will see only standard models; in order to be able to acede to others possibly created you must be exempted in advanced mode. See you qui

in fact massive told you that you have to create and save templates "model" for the various parts documents, together and drawing, with preset the desired options. at the opening of a new document you will use those models that will be proposed to you in the opening tab set in advanced mode.

First of all I will uninstall both the 2012 version that I had kept for "security", and 2013, and I will reinstall 2013 clean.
I realized that it was going to draw a little from the 2012 models, a little since 2013, I had 3 solidworks date etc.
