Hey, guys.
I am new in the forum and little expert of cad. I use the version 2010.
I was trying to add retini downloaded from the network, and I opened the window "options", "files", to add a new path from which to fish the downloaded retini ("support file search path").
However, after adding this path, the program no longer opens the standard retini: it says "acadiso.pat - can't find the file" and "no standard patterns available". Also canceling the option I had added, nothing changes.

I am terribly inexperienced and decidedly on the path of despair, I would be grateful if you could at least get me access to the standard retini! !
Thank you so much!

I found a guy on a forum in English with my own problem... it is said to recover this path:
c:\documents and settings\rkent\application data\autodesk\autocad 2010\r18.0\enu\support

But I have not solved anything: the path must be different.. in the autodesk folder I have autocad2010english (eccetera) but then no "r18.0" nor any "enu".

Anyway, doing a search on my pc, I found the folder "support"... or better, I found eight!!!
Maybe someone can tell me what's the right path?
I also agree with the method to understand which folder is what I need: to say, what files do I have to find in it? ?
please, be patient and help me: I have a delivery Thursday!! !
Thank you very much.

do you no longer have the support folder in search paths?

the support folder to which autocad refers in the search paths find it in this path:
c:\documents and settings\username\dati applications\autodesk\autocad 2010\r18.0\itaSupport

in your case instead of ita you should find enu, since you have the English version.

the folder you do not see because in windows you have to view the hidden folders and files.qui find the procedure of how to view hidden files.

Okay, great, the problem was the hidden files. are in the "enu" folder, but there are only "ptxml", "textures" and "webfiles". . .
Why isn't there "support"?
:

and by the way, in the search paths "support" I have... In fact, I trusted the forum guy: he said he had "support" in "support file search path", but the instructions they gave him were about the recovery of "support"!!! Don't ask me what it means, but some post after him thanked everyone happy! ! !
Anyway, I have:
c:\program files\autocad 2010\support
c:\program files\autocad 2010\fonts
c:\program files\autocad 2010\help
c:\program files\autocad 2010\express
c:\program files\autocad 2010\support\color

...and if that's not the problem, what is it?
Sorry to bother you!!! :

none of those you wrote, well, should be a similar folder hidden as described by plannerroad
c:\documents and settings\username\dati applications\autodesk\autocad 2010\r18.0\ita\support

Hi.
I have the same problem.

I don't even have the support folder anymore

Can you tell me how to do this?

p.s. I'm ending the thesis and I'm pretty drawn with the times!

Thank you!
