steel scales - side mounts

Hi.
I have a problem with the side pillars of a steel scale.
I should put them central to the pedestrians and I don't understand how to do it.
in addition the climbers end up in correspondence of the last pedestrian and not of the upper level.
from the image you understand enough problems.
How can I do that?
I looked around and couldn't fix it.

ok...but from the properties of the scale I can not change the type of the mount.
I feel like I'm lost in a problem from nothing, but I'm not running it! o

As you can see from the attached image I don't find the way to extend the mounts up to the top level and place them central to the pedestrians.
What's wrong?
