step " record index not found"

hi, lately, I happen very often that, receiving steps from customers / suppliers and importing them, sw16 stops me and gives this error " record index not found" and there is no way to open the step ...

when possible I send back an iges and solve, other times remains the problem that does not solve even if they re-emitting a new step ...Do you ever get it?
Would you know how to solve this?
