I recently started using sw 2015 premium sp5, I need to build a frame with a square tube 15x15x1.5, section that however under sections - standard iso / type - square tube / size was not present, there were only 4 sections the smallest of which 20x20.

had been created and posted taaanto time ago by the user gabriele swx. is well done and very useful:View attachment 17855simply add them to the weldment profiles folder (or from options point the system directly to the new folder) and will be available in the "welding module" as structural members.

There's nothing to do. open the profiles and save them with your version. the profiles are simple sketches, of graphic materials, is this to which photoworks refers, does not use it. probably is a standard message for the version jump. in 2014 no longer exists photoworks replaced by photoview360
a small advice on profiles:
I don't know how they're made, but be careful that they don't contain variables. this could create problems if you use different measurements of the same profile as the first profile that is inserted adds the variable to the part and all the profiles that you will insert later if they contain the variable will assume the initial value. practical example: insert a heb 160 that has a radius of 15 managed by a variable r; then insert a heb 400 that has a radius of 30 always managed by the variable r; in this case it commands the first value then you will find a heb 400 with radius 15. little thing would seem, but not if you have to be incarcerated, dozens of reinforcements that then do not get stuck.
