good evening :) I am trying without success to create a mold starting from a finished piece (with retreats and what else already calculated) but I cannot find precise information on the correct process to subtract two volumes, would you know how to give me some indication?
Thanks :)

I apologize for the autoquote but I am baked and I did not find the button to edit :|
So, I think I have found the correct way:
I created an assembly with the two parts, after which: level of detail->new substitute->derivative
I save my derivative and can edit it as I please.
Now I would like to understand one thing, my derivative part is independent from the assembly from which it comes or I have to move all the directory where I put them if I want to move them from one pc to another?
Would you also tell me if I followed the correct procedure?
Thanks :)

the derived parts are connected to the original part as default: However if with the dx button, in the side browser, select the node of the original part in the menu between the options you will find "sopprimi link with basic component" and "interrupt link...". from suppression you can go back in a second moment, interrupt is definitive and your derived part becomes 100% independent.

Good to know, thank you very much! :
