Hello everyone
I'm evaluating a grasping system as in the figure (the force loads the tube axially). the problem is that the load is high and inside is present polymer at 300°c (loss of load on the bolts for thermal expansion).
do you know if there are applications where those side bands (one or more) are used to support all axial force? Are there regulations that allow me to size the bands according to the load?
