Hello.
I tell you the problem in summary: I should lay a surface, like a drapop, on another surface.
This rhino function handles it but in a basic way, i.e. I can make a selection window that then projects by supporting the points on my target surface. the problem is that the generated surface passes beyond my target surface and is unmanageable.
I would like to be able to choose the surface to "support" as if it was a fabric of a certain size, on my target surface, which is not flat, and it is not only one, but a series of surfaces....type... a hull.
Is there a plugin for this?

there are various solutions on rhino,I use thick times map,or surface oriented.

I believe that the geometric question is complex, the command that approaches what I speak is the drape command, which is not so versatile and effective, does not allow to select a starting surface to be laid out. I attach a few photos to better understand the concept. Imagine that the copper part is the hull of a boat and the paper sheet is a piece of fiberglass. in practice my final output must be the piece without cumshots to cut, obviously next to there will be another and another, so as to make a nesting.

image 1 and 2

thanks in advance

In practice you have to smear the piece of paper on copper.if it is so with those comadi I told you you can well.

Sorry but map I didn't really understand that command is, could you give me a practical example? Thank you very much.

look at this photo, the concept explains well, the key to everything lies in the fact that the surface 1 is not simply projected on the surfaces of the hull, but adapts to the change of direction of the surfaces on which it leans

If your purpose is to spread supericie 1 on 2 with the command I told you you can only support it. In this case you should use swipe along the surface. But to turn it off is not so simple.
