Hi.
My problem is this:

I exported from a static analysis a xls file of the deformed surface. through a macro generates a part with a cloud of points (about 7000).

is it possible to do the reverse process, that is to regrow this surface starting from these points? Is there a command?
In this way I could compare the deformed with an indeformed plan and assess its progress.

I don't have the license to do what you need, but I know that there are the modules typeized shape editor and quick surface reconstruction with which you can respectively manage the points of the cloud and rebuild the surface from the points.
But since I am not experienced in this matter, but I only saw it do when I did the caty course, I can not tell you more.
Maybe those who do reverse-engineering can give you more precise information.
