surface from multiple non-planetary curves

Hi, I have a problem.

to create a 3d writing I cut the extrusion of the letters with a tube, and this left the letters with an open face.
Given the particular shape of the letters and the cut, I am having difficulty closing some faces.

how can I create a surface starting from a series of consecutive non-planar curves? like this:

If instead of cutting with the tube do a boolean subtraction of the solid you should get a good result.
always that the curves of the writing have been done well and have generated good surfaces.

When you say Boolean Sottration, do you always mean with a pipe shape?

However I tried, but with some letters ( u and b) the Boolean subtraction does not work. What to do in that case?

Yes, with the tube or even with a surface.
If the curves with which you generate letters are not done well, there may be small spaces between the surfaces or things like that.
How did you curve?

Actually, I didn't, and I found out that this was the problem.

reviewing some letters, I found small errors as you said.

I solved by redesigning the letters in question, extruding them and making the Boolean subtraction, thus obtaining the written cut and closed.

As I thought.
is the limit/price of rhino, can do something even with not good curves, open etc.
this also allows neophytes or little formats to produce something, problems arise when then you have to start doing things a little more complex, precise etc.

However as method input my advice is always working well taking care of details, type curve uniformity, warp cleaning, point accuracy etc.

at the beginning maybe the times stretch, in the long period however pays always.
