I attach image to clarify what I would like to do.
generate a surface projected on the floor gives as a result a curve that represents the visibility of the operator.
as data I have the driver's point of view and the hood curve that represents what you can not see below.
Any ideas?
Thank you.

You could create a set of points on the chest curve, then create a series of axes passing through the point of view and the set of points.
create on the surface a second series of points intersecting it with the axes series.
create the passing curve for this set of points.

I would create a "blend limit" surface from the driver to the bonnet curve and then "extend" to the floor. a prop... How did you get the curve on the ground?

I think it's the only solution I'd thought about, take a look at the picture. How do I now join all intersection points? Do I have spline? But it is clear that I do not have a completely real result but that given an interpretation of the path between the various points.. .

The curve on the ground is exactly what I have to find!
I would use manikin with shadow cones...ihihhih
Hell maybe.... this customer uses w3, and how do I use manikin?!??? apart from who knows how much the omino costs and all its connected pachetto!!! :frown:

the mannequins are only available from the wf4 forward, where the file form is present, you can just place them.

the actual module is called manikin extension , in addition to the complete library of mannequins according to h-anim standards: iso/iec 19774, supports fields of vision and scope such as:
peripheral (global vision)
binoculars (the visible field accessible from both eyes)
optimal (operation zones)
accurate (reading area)

everything at the reasonable cost of 3500 euros... :-)
