Since you have to change completely (from round to picture) I would say that it has a lot of freedom of interpretation. I started doing it directly in solid, you have the basic size and the lime you can build a big patch that gives you the shape of the dome then for the ribs imposed on a sketch on a plane and create a solid extruded offset. in the end for the handles take caliber and ruler and the cups as faithfully as possible.
