Bye to all,
in order to simplify a 3d assembly with fem purpose, I happen to leave components without contacts.
on ansys then they are pains and I was wondering if, on sw, there was a way to investigate the bodies seamlessly with other bodies.
for example a life that kept a flange and remains in the void after I suspect the flange (a stupid example but that makes the problem understand)

I have found various distances between the components, but does it take into account that they can be in contact with each other in other points (e.g. are both in contact with a third body) or are they highlighted are those without constraints?

Okay, it doesn't exactly reflect what I wanted, but it's something more.

there is no unique suitable tool.
you have to proceed differently, example by shaping a special body only for fem or similar things. do not think you have a complete set and simplify it by removing some pieces here and there.

as ansys I have always used the apdl, not the workbench, on which I found for other little documentation, while allowing a more intuitive management.
Do you have any material to recommend?
