sw10 malfunction

Good morning to all
we are encountering considerable problems with the 2010 version (sp02) de sw as it fails to properly manage external files with which some functions of the program are managed. I better explain, in carrying a table in .dwg the program loads a .txt file in which the various entities are mapped and in which it is specified how to export them; or in calculating the development of a sheet the program refers to an excel file in which the parameters for the correct calculation are specified. these files up to the 9 realm worked properly, now they drive us crazy.
Has anyone found a similar problem?
while I'm contacting assistance but the times are long and fortunately:wink: there is a lot to work, so I also ask here.

Just one thing,
say sp.02. to me it turns out that we are only at 01 with 02 in version "ev". Is this the last one you have? Was he acting this weird way since sp.0?
What other "problems" are you finding?
and instead improvements (but real..)?

when I install 2010 I will jump even on win7 64 bits, who is using it says it is worth it and I myself have a pc with win7 and oh noticed an increase in the performance of file transfer in net of 400% - 500% compared to xp x64, only for this working with the centralized data on nas it is worth it!
I hope not to curse this choice in the following months...

I found more than good the last 2007 (sp 5.1?) and "velocissimo"; then 2008 I jumped it evenly.
the 2009 " seemed" already mature (however slower than 07) but sometimes some unexpected joke does.

We are also changing a company ws and I wanted it with win7 64bit (it is on the laptop I gave birth to my daughters and it seems nothing bad. at least as I know in itself and with "consumer" software, I did not try with cad) and I will wait for this step as well.

01 was not stable at all... to understand us at the levels of a service pack 02 of the 2009 version. qusto new service pack for now has not implanted me... I use it from a day....
for the kind of work I do I did not find sensitive improvements, maybe multibody plates can be useful but sincerely I have not yet used them. But consider that I do not deal with surfaces and that I do not have for any time at this time and therefore I have not yet deepened the news.
the putting into the table has been retouched a lot but for now the news have unleashed in my office mainly swears... maybe we have to get used to it.
I repeat what I said in the post before... I am very angry and I am seriously thinking of returning to 2009. I contacted the assistance and now have some unfunctioning files. We'll see what they tell me. we are still thinking about moving to windows 7 hoping things will improve. . .

You are not alone! in simulation the 2010 version was full of the calculation of the resulting forces and only with the upgrade sp2.o they noticed and corrected it.

I understand disappointment and blurring, I often get angry just for the same reasons.
the problem is that if you try other software on the market the situation is not much better, everyone has bugs and politics is gross the same.
if you consider that crash autocad lt that inside it has a 2% novelty and a 98% technology used for more than 20 years....
I finally made a reason thinking that I have to live with it, because the only way to get rid of bugs is to draw by hand and this would be too out of the market.
Don't be fooled by commercial competitors who promise you absolute stability, that only exists in dreams.....

an update on the situation. . .
after a week with the service pack 2.1 for 2010 it seems that sw is finally a little more stable. I had to solve these problems, however, despite the lack of assistance that has now opened a call.
1 - sw 2010 has some problems with excel tables in 2003 versions
2 - the export in dwg of the flat plate is likely to empty the prepared mapping file, then eye to have a copy to be recalled if necessary.. .
