sweep cutting of solid objects

Good evening,

for a project we are developing, I would need to perform a sweep cut inside a body.
"the tool" that must perform the cut is not cylindrical and I would have thought of using a solid sweep cut.

to theIn the example that I reported, I should take the " parallelepipedo" with the edges radiated the path outlined and subtract to the other extrusion the framed material.
Solidworks accepts circular solid problems, for solids with another geometry how could I behave?
the allert in this case reports that "the solid must be convex", what does it mean? How could I get this?

first attach the file (writing in your profile the solid version) without obliging others to recreate your situation
then you do not understand which path is and why in the sweep cut are accepted circular solids and not others when just give profile (any sensible shape has and route)
Obviously if you denounce an alert you have to put in condition who reads to see what settings you have indicated because otherwise the alrt does not mean anything
