Good morning.

I have a set of subaxis and parts that originated in various ways, some have been imported through iges files or steps from other programs or downloaded from the internet, some are native to pro-e but I don't know the starting settings well.
the problem is that I often have to struggle not little to get the correct weight.
I would like to create a table to be inserted in the drw of the assembly that brings the settings of the individual parts (material, precision, unit, prop mass etc.) to keep them under control and correct those that do not go.

How can I do that?

thanks for suggestions

when you create parts from imported files you have to make sure that the parts are created using a start part that contains the parameters and materials of your interest

made this in assembly environment you can insert in the column model tree that let you display the parameters of the individual parts.

In this way you can copy and paste data from one side to another.

Have patience, but I don't understand.
for example if I amount an iges file as I tell them to use a certain start part.

you must set in the config.pro the two following options:

template_solidpart (full path of start part model)
template_designasm (full path of the start asm model)

In this way when you open an imported file (igs or steps for example) the program assigns the parameters present in the start part or start asm if it is a set.

percui should take the same strart part, which of course I had already set, when I open a new file of pro-e, but in my case it does not work.
when I open an iges or step I find a file without parameters, materials and with units in newton, is there to set up some other option?

Sorry I think you need to set the option intf_in_use_template_models su yesTry and let me know... I don't want to have my brain on the table.

great, so it works great. for new files I should no longer have problems.

but to put back the old files you can see the settings in the "table" I described earlier?

you know maxopus that I can't find the setting intf_in_use_template_models in the config.pro?
Can it be that in the wf5 is called different?
thanx!

try to select show > current session and remove the check mark to show only options loaded by file

:36_1_1: but not so gross from... :36_1_12:
In fact, as you can see from the attached image (hiking not having wrong with this message) I recalled all the entries containing the search key "intf" and the one that indicated maxopus does not appear. :36_1_4:
That's why I need surgery... Genius!:4441:

Oh anyway at the end I did not understand whether that parameter exists or not even in the wf5.
do you use wf5? in your config.pro?

Here I am.
try to insert it into the config, even if it does not suggest.
I tried a little bit ago with the wf5 and it works.

if I impose the config as you say, if there is an equal parameter, this is overwritten by that of the imported part or by my parameter of the start part?
