often you risk to underestimate how many implications in the company are related to the issue of coding... search speed, traceability in the company, errors induced by the complexity of coding, evolution in the time of the meaning of coding,...

depending on the needs, the coding strategies in the technical office can be various....pdm or not pdm.... double encoding or centralized encoding on the erp....

It would be interesting to compare pros and cons of various coding approaches.

But, I feel like weird talk made by a student.
also if you open a debate Maybe then you should take part if you look for the comparison, what do you say?

Come on, explain your company's product how it works without too many preambles and let's end it.

hi to everyone, I have neither product nor company, but I have the interest to know the prospects of who has what to do every day with these themes. I imagine most companies have solved the problem of model coding by adopting pdm/plm solutions, but I have no idea how they are integrated within the company, and how these choices are dictated by historical reasons or practical needs. I thought that however simply asking, and sharing in a transparent way the results, someone interested in sharing these aspects could have come forward.
