Hello everyone,
I have to set a temperature gradient on patran and do a structural analysis for the calculation of stress due to temperature.
geomentry is very simple, ie a perforated disc shaped with elements having axisymmetric properties. My first problems were due to internal pressure and rotation speed, solved with the fem and then compared with analytical results.
now my problem is set the heat gradient; I've done a thermal analysis of my piece and I've got the temperature flow according to the radius. I then created a field to be applied to the nodes for structural analysis. I set the structural bond I was interested in and launched the analysis. and here the problem ie that does not generate results of stress and shifts.
I wanted to ask you if there are particular methods of managing the load case or launching analysis when setting the temperature as a load condition.
greetings
