terminal cut setting elements

good morning to all...for a matter of import through ifc of the revit model in the calculation software, I need the elements of the model not to be cut at the ends and end in correspondence of the central axis of the element that intersect. if in fact carry out the ifc model with this dislocation, in the file imported from the software the model is not connected in the nodes.
is there a possibility to set this property or should I stretch all the knots by hand in the revit?

It is indifferent, in this case I speak of wood but I would say that it should not change the question. revit, to have a correct graphic representation, disposes the terminal sections of the elements according to the thickness of the intersected beam. .in the export ifc maintains this dislocation, with the result that the resulting calculation model does not have the linked nodes.
