I don't think there's a free version of vray for sketchup.
I used idx yielder (180$ full version) but you can try it free without expiration of time but with a limitation in the size of rendering.

I know that vray would need a license, but I'm not very sure (my at home doesn't have it because I took it when he did college from my classmate). other programs thea render (payable) or twilight render v2 (free trial and then paid)

I need to generate level curves from google earth of a given area (range in z 5 meters) below I have to export the 3d curves obtained in iges 3d files as it must be read by sw catia v5 r24.
Can someone help me?

should use sw for civil engineering
