a couple of years ago working for another company we asked for a quote to newmacut and we had no difficulty getting a trial version, maybe try to pretend interested in a comparison between software before purchase.
I really do not understand this policy that leads to anything good. having multiple certified users guarantees a greater spread of the product.. .

this is the only thing that matters and serves, basically, only to them (€€.00 )
certifications serve 'na cippa, if you know how to do, there is no paper header and bubble that makes the difference.
a good course, done well, can serve, but not to those who have been working on a sw for years.
 
I also remain of the idea that certification does not serve, in Italy less yet, if you have been working for years with the sw and occasionally integrates with the new commands, online help for the things you do not do every day.

It's not something I need for Italian territory.
I am of the idea that, as you say here at least, certifications are not very useful. Instead, I am asked as an initial step to be able to deal with interviews.
