Bye to all,

I have to apply a texture of wood to rhinoceros models that differ only a few details (some have holes other not), but loading the same texture I get different results. .
for example on some veins are horizontal, on other vertical; I had thought of turning the texture file but I get a third result. .

Is there anyone who can help me?

Thank you.

Hi, justy, I'll try.
I did the two tests . on the first I applied the same texture; on the second I rotated it by 90°, before applying it to solid to "l". in the test you see, in the upper faces veins have all the same direction, (while in what I did not manage to load the solid to l had in the perpendicular direction) but remain incongruent for some of the other faces. I think it would be necessary to have the texture of the same wood, but cut perpendicularly to the veins, to be applied in the vertical faces left after having exploded the solids.
I hope you've been helpful.

Thank you, young man.

Your advice was helpful to me and managed to make me better understand what my problem is:

putting the texture on surfaces all ok, combining instead the surfaces I lose the texture.
Unfortunately I have to join the surfaces because I have to do animations with bongo, especially rotations.
for now the only solution is to combine the surfaces even where I do not do animations but I have little real textures. .

I have no animation experience so I don't know if it can solve: I would say to try, after having exploded and applied the textures, to use "raggruppa" instead of "unisci" getting distinct groups for each of the solids; I think that doesn't affect animation.
