the color of a new layer is not maintained

still autocad lt 2012: I create a new layer, imposed the color, I go out with the x and it does not keep me color. I come back, I change and keep it. But why? handle ac12... uffa with my old 2009 was all right ... and then I still disappear the icons of the design (close, reduce to icon, etc.) even if obvious with the tab as indicated in previous post, but why they have disappeared still I did not understand ...

to me it happens with win7, so if you open an old design with some layers and some colors you certainly can create new layers with the desired colors.
to me only happens with the new designs. It's a weird thing, but I don't think I'm doing this much since I solved it like that, other strange thing is that the file must be a dwg and not a dwt

portable with win7 with updated autocad in a new design makes the strange defect described that makes you make new layers but it does not allow you to assign it any color, even if you click it more and more times, but you can draw as you like
If I open an old file with the layers already set, it allows me to do everything, new layers and assign the colors that you like most.
I tried to save it as dwt file so I already beautiful and ready it, but strangely as dwt file pattern does not allow it, so I folded sl dwg file and save it by name.
This defect could bother me if the laptop used it as a pc dedicated to the job, instead we say it is a pc from field, i.e. that you carry it behind and you can work on it, es some errrore on the voltures, es some error on the transcriptions, some booklets, vision drawings and or modify them, starting to draw the reliefs of apartments maybe while you wait someone, check operations from field without need to return to the office, another problem.

I installed the sp1 and I have win7 64 bits: I did not smacchinato on the notebook because it is brand new, but, unlike our friend above, I use the pc nb as the main object of my profession. Could the problem depend on the fact that I imported the settings of the old 2009? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall the whole thing? Come on, tell me no... what balls!! !

I think Lattu's got the problem, but you missed his surgery.

with layerdlgmode = 1 color change is instantaneous, x output is reduced to the window only closing.

with layerdlgmode = 0 the change is received at the exit with "ok", or "apply". the x exit without "app" cancels the command.

I confirm. lt2012 does not have that variable, so probably the layer manager is of office inserted in a palette
