The light a file after xrif union

Good morning, everyone. work on files in which load more external references. when the design is definitive the external files are joined because the recipients do not know how to handle xrifs. the problem is that the file comes to 12 mb and becomes unmanageable. Is there a way to lighten it/believe it? advice? Thank you. (autocad lt 2015 but save in 2010...)

no, but if you have to work on other occasions with the recipients of the files you should pay him a short autocad course, subject: xrif ;-)
