hi guys are doing some tests with the command thin walls, I use solid edge 18, I still give error : the faces have a curvature less than the distance of offset.I tried various values but nothing to do.I try to attach the file, especially I have to create a thickness of 2 mm and have an empty shell to extract and insert inside some details.
Somebody help me? ?

thanks michele

just opened the file I immediately noticed the initial part. the generated surface has a very strange curvature, with rays below 2 mm and therefore not as often as required by you.

I suggest you better treat this area.

once you improve the surfaces, join them with the command "cucious surfaces" and then with a boolean the tops of the existing solid.

to finish all times at once.

work with v20 so I can't send you a usable example on v18

Hi.

What do you mean by the beginning? where the wing goes to the tip or better the wing terminal? I tried to quote the rays that make up the two profiles but there are no rays below 2 mm?
theoretically if I dig two narrower 2 mm profiles should work? ?

Thank you.

the part you did with the bluesurf. from the inspect menu, activate the display by bending radius and you will see that there are peaks. the surface has no good continuity. you have to work on the generating curves.

If you can try to do it as a unique surface, the results are of greater quality.
