Good morning to all, I open another topic for another problem/modeling problem (you see that I am new? :biggrin:). I practically have to shape a balcony rail so that on the long side it is tilted of a certain angle while on the two side it is vertical. since an image is worth more than a thousand words I link a photo:

This is the result I have to get. I just can't create a unique railing that has two different inclinations and if I create two different railings these don't intersect well at the corner. Moreover to create the sloping railing now I was changing the profiles of the currents and the uprights tilting them of the angle I calculated. useless to say that it is a workmanship (seen that at each plane the inclination is different!!). Can't you turn all the railing directly?

thanks in advance! :finger:

test with a conceptual mass.
creates the surfaces that have the dimensions and characteristics of the three pieces of railing:
- length;
- height;
- tilt.
to the same surfaces assigns a grid composed of the pillars and currents, to which you will assign the appropriate profiles

Thank you for the answer! :smile:

I am now creating the local mass.. then I saw that you can turn into a continuous façade but on the grid I can only apply the "mounting" family. Is there a way to use a profile instead?

selecting the mount, go to the properties of the type, and from the family, you can select the various types of mount, and to it associate various profiles (in the field "profile")
