Bye to all,

so far I have always used autocad, but I would like to broaden my knowledge with a 3d as you must, I had thought of nx.

My question is this: what hopes do you have a self-taught? Are there valid training courses?

thanks to all and good Easter.

hi mercury, what I can tell you that by self-taught it is possible to learn and also well, I am an example, I started from the old v16 and now I am on nx5, before using unigraphics I used catia v4 and before still autocad.
often the courses usually give a general infarination but do not enter specific, and they cost a lot of money, then it always depends on what you have to do if you have to model a bolt or if you have to model a particular body shop of a car, certainly it takes years to take familiarity with the medium, you just have to get passionate and not lose heart, it is a nice product maybe one of the best on the market.
However, a minimum of mental elasticity is enough and maybe start copying a simple object and then switch to a more complex one.
then in any case here in this forum you will always find someone willing to help you and guide you.
hello and good luck
Palo

thanks paolo, do you know where I can find valid guides/tutorials? I have looked for something, but little stuff: either I am infected, or I have not looked well;)!
One last thing: which program is more widespread at industrial level and therefore should you know?

Usually the manuals and tutorials are given to the courses, I don't have someone a little old about the v17 (in pdf), on the net you find something you just look good and in the right places (capish ammè)

Thanks again paolo. one last thing, a laptop with processor series i, ram from 4 giga ddr3 and ati from 1 giga can have problems with nx, cat and beautiful company?
