Good morning to all,

using the trajpar function in the following form "sd4=10*sin(trajpar*360*10)" I get the attached figure.
to me it would serve that the sinusoid that develops along the given circumference, was not tuned but had the edges at 90°, as if it were a saw tooth (see red touch in the attached image).

Would you please give me a hand?

p.s. it is not necessary that the degrees are 90, the important thing is that instead of the rounded sineoid it is possible to have one with corners of living edges

use the "graphic" function. sketch drawings the edge trajectory and relate the "graphic" with the sweep

thanks wired,
using the chart with the function "var sect sweep", and linking it to the relationship "sd9=evalgraph("cam", trajpar*360)" regarding geometry everything works.
There is, however, a problem related to the fact that I should create the repetition for such geometry as in the following report "sd9=5*sin(trajpar*360*6)", where the value 6 is to indicate the number of syndicates divided into my circumference.
I would therefore need to be able to repeat the geometry of my chart by linking it to a relationship which, according to the diameter, determines the number of repetitions.
I am now trying to find the solution, meanwhile I am welcome vs. ideas.
Thank you.

I'd say we built a circle arc 360/6. a chart of a single "picchio". var sec sweep surface. set radial x6. mixes surfaces and thicknesses.

thank you so much wired, I had already tried to serialize a single piece, but it is not exactly what I wanted to get (although the result is not bad); I will keep you updated on new developments and of course all your suggestions are welcome.

the goal was achieved, I abandoned the use of the chart and went to send in geometric series a double tooth of segha, managing every paramater through appropriate relationships.
thanks again to all
