Hello guys, I am new to the site and I would need you: I looked a lot on the internet and on your site but without understanding anything... I practically realized the facade of a 3d building with autocad with all the details (tanti) and should present a table with axometric view 30-60 from the bottom and turn everything into 2d... is it possible or is it pure utopia??? If it was possible someone should guide me step by step, or recommend another program that reads autocad files and that allows me to do all this... nn want to lose all the work I did and do everything from head... please!!!! Thank you very much for your attention! ! ! !

I press that I already know the dxb file command though practically ruin my design as many lines are packed or doubled etc etc etc

you positions in the view/absonometry that interests you and then with the geompiatta command creates a 2d view. you carry it in a new design (you should... in the options you find it). all in the model space there is also the _solprof option that however should be used by the paper space, but first try with geompiatta.

p.s. you omitted the version of autocad you use.... so I'm not sure geompiatta is in all versions.. .

p.s. welcome to the forum, and hoping to see you again once solved the problem;)

I don't know if that's what you mean, but you could do a solprof of a rotated 3d view of 300 on the x axis and -60 on the xy plane set in a layout.

ps: preset assonometric views are 30° / 30°

I use autocad 2008... however for the assonometric view from the bottom we are and thank lattu, although I have to do it on the other side but we already have... for the transformation in 2d nn I well understood how the command geompiatta and solprof... I try but I don't understand anything. Sorry I'm new to these operations

Thank you so much, guys. I know what to say... perfect!!!! I thought I had to do it again.... thank you so much again!!!!!!! Mythical!! !

I solved it with geompiatta and making a new file... arches and circles remained such and no high lines.... perfect!! ! ! !

I have not yet understood how to set the 3d angle well I understand how to use the commands....please reply soon I have the same problem as pier but I have to solve it by today:eek:help!

If you understand how to use commands I don't understand what you can't do... .
Anyway hello and welcome to the forum

Good evening to all,
I don't know if anyone will answer me because I see this is a very old post, I'll try anyway. . .
I made a 3d with autocad and then generate its asonomatic view with geompiatta and is perfect. My problem is this: I would like to print in the same assonometric view also the furnished plant, I explain better: a part of the design is a real acenometry with the raised walls, the rest of the design continues only in the plant and the view is shortened because represented on the plane of the asonometry. the problem is that when I make the plant geompiatta, being a 2d, it disappears...... I have to redesign it shortened? I don't know if I explained... and thank you to those who will answer me.

in vista assonometrica where you run flatshot:
- Bird view
- select the 2d portion
- copyclip

in the view from above where you glued the flatshot block:
- global ucs
- pasteclip

Thank you very much for the answer, I managed to solve with the flatten command of the express tools and the result is perfect.... thanks again.
