Good morning to all
I tried to search through the forums if there was a similar topic but I didn't find it, if there was already excuse me.
the point is this: in the study for which I work I made a 3d model of a hut where there are production lines, formed by objects created by me (so ipt), and other objects imported from 3d models of other suppliers (some are objects of only surfaces). I would have the need to send the full model to the customer, but only to view it, without that it can put our hands. I tried pdf3d but it creates problems: the solids of surfaces do not display them and makes me visible all the reference plans of the objects, making the design unreadable (I tried to look between the export options but failed to find the solution).
I would like to export a readable file with free programs (e.g. navisworks), but they are not reconvertable in native inventor files.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you in advance!

export to dwf, view it with the dedicated free program that you find here: https://www.autodesk.it/products/design-review/downloadfrom the dwf they will never get the models, but they can dissect, take the measures and then take inspiration to copy.
the models carried, often can be converted into solids, there goes some practice but, if needed, you can make them more usable.

Thank you first! Monday I will try to export to dwf.
I ask one thing: if I try to open the dwf file with inventor, will it open? because what I want to avoid is just this...

Hi.

correct convert to dwf, these files appear only with desing-review, so they are not openable by inventor
However it is also possible to disable the option to get the measurements
see photos

Good job
