Hello, everyone!
I have the need for lines from a pdf that provided me telecom.
I noticed that by uploading the pdf into the dwg, autocad follows me every line, it takes away the background and puts me retinals where there are houses.

the next step which is it?
I would like to extrapolate only the lines about the telecom network and I do not care those of the road and buildings (which I already have).

I hope there is a solution because it is not nice to recalculate the lines, especially when they are so many!

Thank you very much.

autocad does not have the function of vectorizer, if that is what you are looking for.
there are specific programs that perform this function (but do not expect miracles), if you do a search on the forum on which to use you will find different directions.
then depends on which program originated that pdf.
if it comes from a dwg for example with illustrator, but also with inkscape that is free, you can retransform them in dwg, naturally losing some features.

but it is strange that you create all the layers but that highlight the lines.. I can also snap on it: is it possible that in my autocad 3d this thing was implemented halfway?

Thank you so much plannerroad!

for those who should use the search function you must open with inkscape the pdf and then save it as .dxf file that you can then open with autocad :)

is not strange as that pdf comes from a dwg.
is a normal function of autocad this type of recognition of entities in a pdf.
but you can't vectorize it with autocad.

where work we use progecad. has a specific function to vectorize pdf.

It is a cad (almost) similar to autocad: it even turns many autolisp.

Thank you very much for the answers :)

I solved with inkscape, the only flaw is that it does not recognize the dotted line and therefore divides it into many continuous lines more or less long.. but I don't think we can solve this.
