if I put an object in hidden lines mode, it does not become transparent, as you see from the image

If you read well I wrote that I did a file from 0...and the thing worked on the new file..in 2017 version and you file old even with the 2021 it does not go

the first image is in the environment together and not in the drawing environment!! ! !

in the first picture see the axieme.. .in the second picture see the result at the table.. .Finally, as you see in this last image, even setting transparency as it had indicated you grace-g you get the same same result on the table.

so to me with 2017, making an ex novo model worked.

sure I did it with 2017 and then I opened it and converted it with 2020 and in both it works, both setting the removal hidden lines as indicated by you, and setting the transparency as indicated by Graziano-g. to me since 2011 with which I started working with sw, to today with 2020 I never happened such a thing, so I don't know exactly what pose to be.
