Bye to all,
I'm new to the forum and I just use inventor, so apologize if I ask for something silly.
I designed a tree with the generator, but when I ask to perform the calculation there is something I don't understand.
the shaft is along l, has diameter d and has double symmetric motorization with central load p. each of the 2 engines develops a power n and produces a couple c=n/omega with omega angular speed of the shaft.
Now...all diagrams make sense, as well as reactions on the supports etc...except the ideal diameter
...maybe I miss something but it doesn't come back.
which formula uses inventor to calculate it? I couldn't find him.
Thank you all!
