biona evening to all,

I am trying to make a shading (with the true shading of nx 6) of a small object to show it to a customer as realistic as possible.

My problem is that when I select the type of material and color (like glossy yellow plasic ) makes me the particular white ??

this not for all selected colors. to explain to me, if I do the gilded it works.... bho !!! I can not find remedy

Is someone who might use this command more to give me some advice?

Thank you all for your answers, good work.

Sure, or at least I try.

are inside a part file contain a small solid object that in reality will then be made of yellow plastic. so I wanted to make shading to show the customer a more realistic picture possible.
when I enter into the true shading environment in the menu with materials and select the "yellow glossy plastic" icon instead of getting the imagined effect my white color object appears to me and this for other materials. However, if they select from the usual material menu, the effect is returned to me correctly.

I don't understand, it seems to me that it doesn't recognize certain materials and consequently white faces.

I would add, as it happens to me sometimes, that it is random.
in the sense that in a partfile hypothesis is not seen the plastic blue, in another partfile white, in another yellow etc..

I gave up

to me it happens with both, in the sense that the problem persists also using the "specific materials object" putting on the filter the solid voice and selecting the particular. the result is always white

I don't know what to say, can you post a file that has the problem? Just delete geometry and create it in a block verifying that the problem persists.
Bye.

p.s.

Good Easter to all.

I apologize for the delay ... I put a file with a parallelepipedo

I hope you can find a rhyme, I no longer know where to beat my head!!

activate the true shading, select the solid and from the bar "object specific materials" selections "remove material assignment", so you get back ok. casino is probably due to the fact that you sometimes use the global material and sometimes the specific material of the object.

so I go back.

Bye.

According to true shading, I wanted to see if there are any settings to eliminate or decrease the visual effect of solid edges ( serrated lines) to improve the image of the product. I attach an image that I hope will help you understand the problem.

Thank you for the availability date, bun work to all.

the only thing you can do is try to disable antialiasing from "visualization performance", to improve a bit you may also limp on the model and do "view-operation-regenerate work", for the rest it takes the rendering module.

also gives a faceting and line tolerance shot (preference - visualization)
