Hello everyone, I have a problem.... I created a local-solid model, with the extrusion function on the path, in a plant view. I can't overturn it now. If I were using autocads, I would change the ucs to my liking and rotate it. It seems to me a semplicable thing but I can't find the solution. I tried them all, can you help me? Thank you. (Revit 2010)

the path is tied to a specific plan (i.e. to the edge of another object if you used the option "select path"), then lie on that plane (i.e. on the plane of the selected path)

then:
- if designed in place, you must first define the reference plan, and it will be possible to rotate it only on the reference plane
- if the path has been defined with "select path" the plan is the one on which the selected line lies
- in order to rotate it (in the drawing) you must make a family, import it into the drawing, and it will be possible to rotate it only on the insertion plane, i.e.: if inserted in a panta view it will be possible to rotate it only in that horizontal view/plan
- if instead the family checks parameters for rotation on the xyz plans it will be possible to rotate it in the project

Thanks, I redesigned the item using different work plans.
Now arises a spontaneous doubt... but if you want to create a continuous element that develops on floors with different angles it is possible or the only way and to break it in smaller parts and then assemble it?

uses modelling with union or union on path, starting from a conceptual modeling family.
Keep in mind that revit is not a pure modeler, like rhino to understand us....
Also you can import in revit, solids developed with other sw.
