I have to change the locking bracket in the figure.
the modification consists in producing the element with a fold and once fixed, exercise a spring-type effect, on the legs to anchor them to the pallet.

What kind of analysis should you perform? I mean, linear or not linear? How do I evaluate it?

Good question. your metal material definitely works like a spring. If you do a non-linear analysis you will certainly get a more likely result. Mechanical springs with pure linear behaviour do not exist.
