unreadable multiline text bug with autocad 2000

Good morning.
There is a bug I can't fix.In the multiline text editing window the text turns out to be unreadable and in the case of editing writing it is impossible to go looking for what you have to edit, has it ever happened? How can I shelter? ...thanks early.

Yes with all fonts and with any size...in fact from the photo you do not understand anything but there is a set of numbers.no I did not install the service pack, where can I download it?
