Bye to all,
I don't understand how to update default templates on sw.
I better explain: I created new default models and I would like to be able to "update" existing files based on these new models that I created
Can anyone help me?

if you do save by name>type *dot file should automatically take you to the folder containing templates
alternatively open system options>position of file> templates of the document to read the folder where they are allocated.
you can easily have multiple template folders, you just have to have the ease when creating a new file to select the advanced mode (then on the bottom left you will have to read beginner) in the file type selection window to create

Thank you. Maybe I didn't explain well.
I have thousands of files (parts, assemblies and drawings) that have been created with previous default models and now that I have updated the defoult models based on new business needs I would like to attribute the same changes to the files already made with the default obsolete models.

Thanks again, but despite the problem it was the same I do not seem to have been answered either on the video or on how to apply new properties on side files, together or existing designs.
I have already used tab builder and created configurations connected to the properties via data table... now I would like to apply this new structure to files made with old models.

But what do you have to replace?
only the properties?
the properties and settings of the document?
property and other?

custom properties and insert a data table that connects these properties to configurations that I would like to keep as standard for parts and assemblies.. .
(I attach custom models and properties)

Can't you use the planning utility to propagate general properties?

As for the data table you should insert it inside the file and I don't know how it is possible to do it

interesting "planning utility", I didn't think about it... cmq when you add the data table you create configurations automatically while the properties if you create them when you load the custom property model I attached. . .
I tried recording a macro but when the launch does not turn
