I set the parameters in excel and when I collect the file all the dimensions are changed in the elements ... but when I adjust the file in excel (and save) automatically the update of the values in inventor is not made.

However, did you check that excel entries are written exactly as the parameters on inventor?
I don’t use the link to excel from a lifetime (I don’t like it, I prefer to create a .ipt file of only parameters to connect),but I seem to remember that just the difference between a tiny-middle to not work. . .

when you connect the file verify that the cell indicated in the excel file choice finer (default is a1) is exactly the first cell of your table present in the excel file.

I posted in 2 discussions because I was panicking .. I apologize. :redface:
I came to the head. (but I lost a tot of time )
in the column to the names were good
in column b the data were obtained with the search() formula and in column there were comments.
as I solved:
1 attempt, I moved the data in column c and in column b I put the formula = a c, in the parameters the names appeared but in yellow.
2 attempt, I moved the data in column d and in column b I put the formula = to d .... it works perfectly.
Can someone tell me why? Isn't there any comments close to the data?

I think the only thing that can be in the column next to the numbers is the units of measurement.
