Bye to all,

are a novice of creo cause didactic needs and I am trying to make an animation through snapshots.
1. in the axieme I create snapshots (with "translating components")
2. applications-> animation
3. new animation -> instantaneous
4. key frame sequence ->
- insert at time 0 snapshot 1
- insert 5 snapshot 2 time

- >

launch animation and component does not move!!!! ! ! ! !

Can someone tell me why?

Thank you in advance:smile:

Hi.

I don't know a snapshot animation.
I can help you with the explosive animation that is identical to the snapshot animation.
go together and create various states of explosion (I usually use 3);
one with unmoved components (e.g. a), one with components at the maximum distance (e.g. c) and one intermediate (e.g. b).
under animation-> new animation -> explode you create animationx.
selections sequence key frames and in the appropriate window where you propose the unexploded wording in key frame selections in opening sequence the previously prepared explosions.
in the time field you attribute a time for each state (e.g. 0 seconds a, 5 seconds b, 10 seconds c).
with the + button add the three states a,b,c to the animation and after the ok you can go in playback (remaining in create next select the play button).

thank you bfausto, I solved (it was enough to remove the constraints from the components to make them move in the animation)

Now I have another kind of problem always in animations. I have to rotate a simple shaft of a motor. Now I make the 2 snapshots, I launch the animation but I see that the tree performs a rototranslation, so not a pure rotation. I think there's a need to apply the servomotors, right?

Does anyone confirm? If so someone can kindly explain how they work and their initialization?

I gladly accept other types of solution. . .

Thank you.
