with vault you can make a "project copy", for example of the general board, and you carry behind all the derived and primary elements. during the operation on it can also intervene individually on the individual voices and decide whether "copy" or "reuse" and you can also automatically rename the individual copied items, once all is completed, obviously keeps all links, including ipn. this can be done from the single side with its table, to the complex axieme with all subaxiemi tables exploded etc...

is an application that adds functions to inventor and autocad and there is a pdm.
the applications are of the computer qs, the appative with the functions is called top for inventor and/or for autocad, the pdm is called data&drawings, on the site of qs there are the specifications. . .
at the level of additional functions there are commands that are hyper-comodi, at the level of pdm I do not know many others, I think that what makes the vault we vad very close, but this I like a fur more because it still has the management of the archive structure in folders easily found with windows explorer, while from what I understood the vault is a little more complex on this side.

the difference makes the fact that the basic axieme is "coded" and listed by the pdm of third parties, to which you can say "ok, save me this together with another name and another coding"; he does nothing but save a copy by name and recreate the same structure of acelerator design folders by reassociating a copy to the new file and renameing details in his way. I don't care how, so much ipropreties are already mapped, then if the various generated files have strange names amen.... But if I wanted to have control over those names, I could do it, but I don't care. .
