Sorry, but I'm ignorant in autocad... I have a perimeter and have to place trees and shrubs at a certain distance from the perimeter and between them with autocad lt 2004 how do I? I managed to put blocks but I can only place them by hand...

Thank you.

I understand it's a little dumb question, but in the tutorials I didn't find an answer... Nobody helps me?

You could generate an offset line of your perimeter at the desired distance.
then use the "divid" comado on the new line generated with the offset and type the number of groups you have to enter. at this point you can insert your groups into the points generated by the division.

or, if the "perimeter" is a circumference or rectangle, you can use the "series" command

I have to make random bunches of 4/6 blocks, I'm using offset to calculate the angle then I use series though how do I place a block at a certain distance from the perimeter ( offset use okay?) and special meters from the other block?

it would be more useful to have a pattern of your perimeter and the quotas to be respected as distances from both perimeter and tree blocks.
Indicatively, offset is what you need... .
create a unique block of the blocks you need to insert randomly, and copy it with reference point compared to the perimeter in question.

So if I have not misunderstood the perimeter in question is that of the fence that must be surrounded by shrubs? and if yes, in all directions? What is the distance from the fence you must respect?

the shrubs must be put in the upper part (as far as it shrinks) and should be placed at 4 meters of the fence in the east side (where I have already put it) , at 1 meter in the north and sun-east side and at 0.5 m in the west side

no I am sorry in this case, since most lines are not exactly straight, the serial command cannot be used. you have to place the groups one at a time.
or take the segment you want to fill, copy it out of the perimeter, then rotate it so that you have a straight orthogonal compared to the axes, and then you can use the serial command; but in the end it turns out longer than do it by hand, segment by segment....:frown::frown::frown::frown:

try to send me the 3 distinct groups and their sequence that we see what you can invent... .

no I did not make groups I have to make a cover like what you did but using 3 different blocks as they are three different trees

yes I used those three but as I was doing it I or 123123123 not good but they asked me to make variable groups e.g.: 111111222233332223333111 etc. from here my drama also because even putting them one by one I have not yet understood how to space them of 1.5 m....

Thank you so much for the help you're giving me! ! !

then take your perimeter segment, build a pin perpendicular to your segment on a vertex.
mix the length of your segment and divide it by 1.5. then use the command "divid" and the question how many blocks? you enter the result of the previous division: it should generate a series of knots along the segment at the approximate distance of 1.5. on each node positions a shrub or tree and generates the series of first type alberelli ennesimi,; repeat the operation for the second and third type according to the sequence they have requested.
They seem trivial things, but when you have to digest the series you learn quickly to bypass obstacles: You just have to put yourself there with a little patience.:finger:

Well thank you very much anyway! and think that with landxpert is a half-hour maximum ehhhhh job to have 4000€.

Please, but look what autocad is not that it costs less, indeed... ! ! !
Good work, hello to the next one.
